FCL

In accordance with our contracts/partnerships with many leading ocean carriers, we provide a wide selection of ocean vessels, alternate routings, transit times, containers and equipment to handle all your shipments and meet the transit time requirements.

We evaluate various routes to move your cargo from origin to destination and offer you the most competitive options within your budget and time constraints.

LCL

There are times that your shipment may not fill an entire 20’ or 40’ container. By sharing the space of a container with our other customers, the ocean freight cost could be dramatically reduced, giving you the flexibility to ship smaller installments. With our competitive pricing and frequent sailing schedule, our LCL consolidation offerings could be your cost effective supply chain solution.

Since FCL’s are utilized for the LCL shipments, the ocean transit time is virtually the same as utilizing your own FCL container. Upon arrival at destination, the containers are moved to our secured and bonded warehouses for unloading and separation. Your client can pick up your shipment from the warehouse without the hassle of port terminals.

REEFER CONTAINERS

Our partnership with international network of temperature controlled carriers means your perishable goods will reach their destination as needed. Complete range of refrigerated transport options mean your shipment will travel in the proper conditions.

It must be kept in mind that the shipment should be frozen prior to loading onto the containers as the cooling units are designed to keep shipments at a set temprature but not to freeze and unfrozen product.

OPEN TOP / FLAT RACK

There may be times the shape or handling requirements of your cargo make it impossible to use the regular 20’DV, 40’DV or 40’HC containers. At these times an Open Top (OT) or Flat Rack container could be the simple but effective solution. We can handle all your Open Top and Flat Rack shipments.

OOG (OUT OF GAUGE)

If your cargo reaches out of the boundaries of an OT or a Flat Rack container, it would be classified as an Out Of Gauge shipment. Due to the fact that containers and ocean vessels are designed to handle In Gaige shipments, special attention and arrangements must be made for Out Of Gaige shipments.

We can negotiate with the ocean carriers for the optimal solution to accomodate the OOG shipments.

PROJECT CARGO

Very large machinery, turbines, generators, factory components, luxury yatchs, train cars, etc may require the use of multiple Flat Rack containers to be assembled side by side, or Platforms may be needed.

These Project Cargo would require precise handling, we would be happy to assist.

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL

Also refered to as "Dangerous Materials", the hazmat cargo requires special handling due to risks it may pose to health, safety and property. These shipments must be declared in advance to avoid delays and penalties. Marinex Logistics can guide and help for your hazmat shipment needs.

FREIGHT FORWARDING

Marinex Logistics can also help to those who may have contracts with ocean carriers with their documentation and declerations. By using Marinex Logistics as your international freight forwarder, you could reduce the paperwork involved and focus on your core business instead.
